Introduction to Tomnbecky's travelog

This is a running travelog for Tomnbecky's big year abroad. We have decided to maintain a blog as a way of letting as many interested friends and family as possible know how our rather ambitious trip is faring. This blogspot free internet service allows us to post text and images, so we trust it will not be too hard on the eye.

As we are but a pair of sojourners through this world, we hope you will feel like writing to us as you read our postings. It is nice to be reminded that you are all there, somewhere under the bended sky.

*Cape Peninsula, South Africa 6- 14 Dec 2004
*London for a brief visit with Nicky and Morgan 14 Dec
*Iceland 16-22 Dec for Tarrin's 30th birthday with Alana
*Manchester for Xmas with Tom's family- Beryl, Leon and Nisha
*Dundee and Speyside, Scotland from 28 Dec- 6 Jan 2005 for a cottage holiday with April and Gavin
*Adriatic Coast, Croatia 7- 14 January with Alana
*Sicily, Southern Spain, Morocco until start of March
*Oxford, U.K. from March until 22 July- some work and a thesis to be completed
*Tel Aviv, Israel 22 July- 1 August with my cousin Robyn and Boaz and their kids Raz, Netta and Amit
*New York, Connecticut, Boston, Hamilton and Red Deer Canada 1 August- 12 Sept
*Hong Kong & China 12 Sept-10 Oct
*Delhi, Mumbai & other bits of India 10 Oct- 21 Nov
*Bangkok and Cambodia 21 Nov-5 Dec 2005
*Home again 5 Dec 2005.
